Tell us a little about yourself!

I have always had a great passion for design, although my academic training began in architecture. After years in that field, I had to leave it for personal reasons and, almost by chance, I entered the technological world. I started to explore how the market was evolving and I became interested in issues such as the glass ceiling that women face, always from a design perspective, because I firmly believe that we all design our own future.

That's how Toqio was born. We started with a small group of friends with a shared vision. Rodrigo, one of the partners, encouraged me to move from designing screens to designing teams of people. It was a challenge, but I was excited by the idea of focusing on what is really the company's greatest asset: people. Since then, I've been leading an amazing team with the goal of growing while maintaining our commitment to sustainability, inclusion and diversity, values that are deeply embedded in our DNA.

How was Toqio born?

Toqio was born within a technology ecosystem that had to close due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Of all the projects we managed, Toqio was the one we believed could make a real difference. In the beginning, the project had a focus on bringing financial solutions to the third world and fostering financial inclusion, something I was deeply passionate about.

What really made us grow into what we are today was the passion of the team. Everyone involved shared the conviction that we could create something innovative and meaningful. That passion and shared vision were key to Toqio becoming what it is today.

What makes Toqio special?

Without a doubt, what makes Toqio special is its people. Diversity is one of our greatest assets; each team member brings something unique to the table, as we come from different parts of the world and constantly learn from each other. This team spirit is what allows us to be successful and to face any challenge with resilience.

What are you most excited about for the future?

What excites me most is the opportunity to continue to create and make a positive impact. I am proud to have formed a team that not only develops a product, but also builds a culture where each person feels valued and motivated. It's not just about working for a salary, it's about being part of something bigger, a place where you feel proud of the work you do and the impact you make on the world.
