On May 11 Toqio officially inaugurated the company’s new office space in the heart of the Spanish capital, Madrid, hosting an event for the fast-growing Spanish fintech space and international digital banking industry. Banking and fintech professionals from across the Spanish financial ecosystem were in attendance, as well as from the UK, Germany, and elsewhere.

Presenting Toqio and Showcasing the Blooming Spanish Fintech Space

At the event, Toqio co-founder and CEO Eduardo Martinez Garcia and head of sales Dafna Martin Beltran presented the company’s vision for the next evolution in banking: providing an exceptional customer experience through integrating and launching advanced data-driven financial solutions, fast to market and within budget.

Two Toqio clients and partners also presented their own companies and how collaboration with Toqio has enabled them to accelerate their respective business performance.

Crealsa founder and CEO José Molina discussed how his organization – a Spain-based B2B neobank – has integrated with Toqio’s platform to deliver a range of sought-after SME banking solutions.

Michiel de Jongh, board director and chief growth officer at Agro Club – an end-to-end digital commercial platform provider for agriculture industry stakeholders – spoke about how Toqio has helped power his company’s operational workflow.

Industry Talk on the Rooftop Terrace

After the presentations, the event guests took to Toqio’s rooftop terrace for a drink and a selection of tapas, with music provided by a live DJ. This offered the attendees the opportunity to mix and mingle and discuss the latest trends in Spanish and international digital banking, against the backdrop of a warm Madrid evening sunset.

Toqio is delighted to now both be positioned in the centre of two of Europe’s most important capital cities – London and Madrid – and looks forward to expanding the company’s presence with truly innovative banking solutions in European and global markets.
